Forms6i has been superceeded by newer versions and the current version is Forms10g, so why might we suggest that you could move to a non-current version?

Well there are arguments that could convince you that it's asensible choice in certain circumstances.

Why might we convert to Forms 6i Client/Server ?

  • You have a small number of Forms, perhaps less than 10 or 20, and purchasing an Application Server licence for such a small system doesn't seem to make sense.
  • Another possibility is that you do not want to use Internet Explorer to deliver an application to your desktop.
